Project Runway All-Stars

Do you like the original show Project Runway? Did you watch most of the seasons? Then Project Runway All-Stars is the show for you! Although it is not as great as the original Project Runway due to it’s totally different cast of judges, it is still fun to watch the crew prosper through each challenge. If you didn’t know already, Project Runway All-Stars is a show that consists of a cast of 14 returning winners or runner ups from the original Project Runway show that compete against each other for a number of weeks designing clothes. The winner gets an abundance of prizes such as a set of sewing tools by Brother sewing and embroidery, their own clothing line with QVC, a fashion spread in the renowned Marie Claire magazine, a stay at a luxury resort in Cancun, Mexico, a staff of Mary Kay makeup artists for their runways shows, and much more. This season, the cast is as diverse as ever.

On the latest episode dating back to December 18, 2014, the designers currently in the competition (Fabio, Justin, Jay, Michelle, Sonjia, Dmitry, Helen, and Samantha) had to design outfits for Match.com dates with someone else in the cast. Most of the designers were not used to designing for men, so that aspect was tough. Among the best designed outfits were Fabio’s, Jay’s, and Michelle’s. Helen and Jay’s outfits were the worst but the judges were nice enough to give them a second chance. That rarely happens on this show.

All in all, this season is about halfway done being five eliminations away until the final three battle it off. Fabio keeps winning almost every other week and Justin keeps losing every week. The cast does not seem to be too friendly with each other. Michelle likes to talk about each competitor behind their backs while Samantha likes to agree with everyone. Even though there has only been 3 seasons of P.R. All-stars, this has proven to be the most diversely skilled cast.
