Philadelphia Resident, Lisa Lobree was on her way to her local fitness class on labor day when she was struck in the face by a catfish.

Her friend Annie confirmed that the catfish fell from a tree. It is not certain how the fish fell from a tree, her friend said it was from a bird that dropped it.

The catfish was about 15 inches long and weighed about 5 pounds.

Lobree-only suffered a minor cut below the eye, a swollen left side of the face, and a fever.

At the heat of the moment, she was very hysterical and upset.

In an interview by CBS Philly, she stated “I think it might have been head, face, and neck because I smelled so bad afterwards. I smelled disgusting,”

Lobree sees the humor of the whole situation, in her statement,
“Think it’s just nice it’s giving people a good story to laugh at,”
