“If you liked Looking for Alaska and Abundance of Katherines, you will LOVE this book. I could NOT put it down. It’s funny and mysterious and just so real. Definitely recommended.”

She gave it 5 stars.

An okay book, in my opinion. At times I liked the characters, and at other times I didn’t like them as much. I guess that makes a character more realistic, but I felt like their behaviours and their dialogues weren’t very realistic. I was also pretty bored with the plot for most of the time. At a few moments, I did however find it interesting.

She gave it 3 stars.

I was trying to find one 5 star one and 1 star one but the reviews for the 1 star were very dragotary.

Elizabeth Jasek who is a junior would give it 4 stars: she said “The idea of the storyline is really well thought out of and I liked it but I hated the ending it sucked, but overall it was a good book.”

One minute I’m laughing, the next I’m crying.

This book has left me with no words.

It’s so beautiful and tragic I am a wreck yet again thank you John Green.

This book is one of those books that stays with you forever. I’m so glad I re-read it as I feel as though I have matured since I last read it and I have been able to get a better grasp on the characters and story this time.

What a truly precious book this is.

I did not like this book. I couldn’t even finish it! I enjoyed paper towns and so I thought that I would like this book but it just wasn’t my cup of tea. The characters were bland the writing was not good but I respect the opinions of my friends who think this is the best book in the universe. I just wish I could understand why.

“This book was definitely one of a kind. It was crude in humor and very emotionally detached. I think if I were younger I could sympathize with the story more. The main characters were gripping enough that you wanted to keep reading but you never really understood their true feelings. Overall, 3.5/5 stars. Definitely feel like this would appeal to a younger audience.”

Not only did the story amaze and affected me so profoundly, the narrative method also astounded me. I think, it is the narrative method that actually made the story great, knowing a story of war, love, friendship, family and life in the perspective of Death. This is one of my most unforgettable reading experiences.”

(He gave it 5 stars)

I did not finish this book due to not liking it, since I do not like the author’s style of writing. Whenever he changes the subject he does it too fast and gets me completely confused. I still put two stars though because the plot is awesome, and made me read it for a bit until I just could not hold not liking it in anymore.

It wasn’t what I expected. I expected a much more darker story, somewhat “silenthillish” maybe. So it could be rather disappointing, but – surprisingly – it wasn’t, after I tamed my expectations and let the author tell his story.

It’s a good book, it’s quite well written, and it kept my attention to the end. Although I’d definitely recommend it mostly for teens, because this book is good start into a quality paranormal adventure literature, as I see it.

I am not even capable of writing a review for this book. John Green wrote a heart-wrenching and gripping novel, one that touched my heart in a way that does not happen often. The Fault in our Stars is a book that will stay with me and will always hold a special place in my heart… and my bookshelf.”

“It was an interesting book to read! A bit different to what I read normally, leaving my comfort zone behind on this one but it has really funny from time to time and it does keep a positive side even though the story itself is quite down to earth and quite sad. It’s an okay read but felt a little slow paced.”

“Wow, this book. It’s hilarious and heartbreaking; silly and thought-provoking. One moment you’re laughing about some immature thing and the next you’re getting gut-punched with all the deep, sad feels, to only then be uplifted again by something else. Sure, it’s about a 14 year old Indian boy living on a reservation, but everyone should read this book, no matter your age. Seriously, go read it.”

gave this book three stars because even though it was fun to read some parts weren’t interesting. Another reason why i rated it 3 stars was because some of the grammar was confusing. Other than those things I would definitely recommend this book.

¨I loved this book as I loved all his other books. It didn’t make me cry but makes me beg for a sequel, even after the its end, which was so satisfying. I found this book one of John Green’s master pieces not just because of the plot itself but also for the ability of making up 19 different dating histories for each Katherine which is awesome.¨

¨I really tried to get myself to finish the book… It was just boring and a little unrealistic. Of course there were funny parts and the growing up aspect was slightly interesting, however it was not what I expected from a John green book. I could get myself to keep reading it, it was too boring.¨

¨Heartwarming and heartbreaking, I honestly wasn’t expecting to care about these characters and their relationship as much as I did. I didn’t really know what to expect, and I’ve only ever read one other RR book (Fangirl) but I expected great writing and some very real characters. I got a lot more; bullying, love, hate, security, fear, loving relationships, toxic relationships… one of the best contemporary novels I’ve read.¨

¨I did not enjoy this book mainly because it focused so much on the emotions of an awkward teenage relationship. Far too many pages were devoted to describing the intensity of hand-holding. It became rather repetitive, the plot became boring and the ending was too open-ended. I would not recommend this book.¨
