Justice. Honor. Nudity. A Newton Police officer is currently under fire for sexual harassment allegations.

Officer Jason Miller was arrested on Monday for sexual harassment. The officer was recently freed on a $35,000 bail.

The charges in question for Miller are “two counts of official misconduct, one count of third-degree pattern of official misconduct and a disorderly persons offense of lewdness,” according to the Long Valley Patch.

The investigation into Miller’s misconduct started on October 23rd when one of his victims sent an anonymous email to the police department, claiming that Miller had sexually harassed him. After the department looked further into this case, the first anonymous source gave the police department the name and phone number of another one of Miller’s victims.

The victims claim that Miller would pull men over for traffic violations, and ask the men if they noticed that the officer’s zipper was down, Alaska Native News said.

After the men would answer “no” the officer would let them go without a ticket of any kind for traffic violations, and return to his vehicle. Dashboard camera footage showed video evidence of Miller covering his genitals with his hand as he returned to his police car.

Other footage shows his genitals clearly exposed, and in one instance “the sound of a zipper opening and/or closing” can be heard, according to Daily News New York.

The ages of Miller’s victims showed men from age 18 to age 26. On top of sexually harassing these men, Miller also let them off on different variations of traffic violations, including possible DUI’s and expired documentation.

The investigation into Officer Miller’s misconduct is still ongoing, and the officer has been suspended without pay until the case is closed.
