Eric Matthew Frein, the man who ambushed two Pennsylvania State Troopers at the Blooming Grove, PA police barracks has been captured after 48 days of an intense police manhunt on October 30th, 2014. Authorities spotted Frein in an open field at an abandoned airport, taking him by surprise. He was arrested without any problems, and identified himself and cooperated with police during the arrest. He was handcuffed by Bryon K. Dickson II, the officer who he had killed during his ambush on September 12th. Frein had seriously injured another state trooper, Alex Douglass, who, according to his friends and family, is getting better every day.
