As if this weekend in Long Valley wasn’t busy enough, Schooley’s Mountain was closed nearly all day due to a milk truck accident. The milk truck allegedly flipped on the roads taking out two utility poles, as well as shutting the road down for hours. The driver, Jacob Lazu, as well as the passenger, Robert Umsted, were both injured and transported to a near by hospital. Schooley’s mountain was closed for the remainder of the day for utility repairs, as well as well as investigation of the accident.
