SADD Winter Blood Drive

The SADD, the Students Against Destructive Decisions, group has hosted the Annual Winter Clothing Drive.  The purpose of this drive is to collect used articles  of clothing and donate them to the poor and needy.

With its usually large donation pile, the Winter Drive is supported by WMC and the community of West Morris. These two groups have been reported to have high opinions of the Drive, as it always has many donations per year.

When asked for her opinion, Mrs. Loux, the head of the SADD replied that she thought that the SADD was very helpful, and a necessity; as the items that were being brought to the por were being used by the people that needed them.

Held every year, the drive has donated clothing to different locations in New Jersey. This year, it was reported that drive was delivering its donated articles of clothing to Rahway, NJ. Each year, parents, students, even teachers donate clothing to the Winter Drive.

Last year, the SADD Winter Clothing Drive  was hosted in Dover to help out in a soup kitchen and clubbing, with the members of SADD acting as volunteers around the soup kitchen, assisting the poor that visited the soup kitchen.

So far, the Winter Drive, has donated  hats, mittens, gloves, and coats, and much more necessary items to  the needy, and is ready to continue on, with the continual support  from the SADD each year.

With the support from the SADD, WMC, and the community of WEst Morris, I can safely say that it won’t be any trouble to gather the supplies that are needed for the communities in New Jersey. Good Luck, SADD.
