Junior Tommy Borgia is a wrestler and a football player at West Morris Central and has competed at the varsity level in both sports for the entirety of his high school career thus far. Due to his outstanding achievements in wrestling this 2024-2025 season, Tommy has been nominated for Central’s Athlete of the Month.
Borgia most recently placed 7th in the 2025 NJSIAA Wrestling State Championships!
Borgia has been wrestling since he was three years old, which means he has had a love for the sport for a total of 14 years. During his time at Central, he has had many memorable experiences in both wrestling and football.
Advice that Borgia would give his younger self is to stay focused and to not let things outside of what you can control affect you. Additionally, he would advise anyone to “Always stay focused on your goals.”
