For the past 2 years West Morris Central has not had a school-run prom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many seniors hoped that they would get back some normalcy to their already atypical senior year with a prom. After months of speculation, administration has decided to host a combined junior/senior prom on June 7th, 2022 at the Birchwood Manor.

Junior class President, Sofia Chan says, “Student Council set up multiple meetings with Mr. Rymer and our class advisors try to promote a prom.” When asked how she feels about the decision to have a combined prom, Chan said, “I feel like the choice to have a junior/senior prom is bringing some normality back to the high school after COVID.”
