Health and Wellness Monthly: March
As the spring season approaches it’s a good idea to utilize the warm weather and get active outside. Studies show that “There are many mental wellness benefits associated with being outside in green spaces, such as the lower risk of depression and faster psychological stress recovery”(USDA). Doing something as simple as going for a short walk, practicing yoga, or just sitting outside under the sun can greatly improve energy levels and overall mental health.
Mrs. Cartier would like to remind students that if they need a pick-me-up during school, to visit the self-care station outside the library and remember to “ask for help if you need it”.
