With a new month kicking off, the Health and Wellness Department at WMC has more in store! Mrs. Ellsworth, Mrs. Cartier, and the Health and Wellness team have activities such as Pet Therapy and Pack Lounge Activities planned throughout the month. If a student is all alone at lunch or has nothing to do they can feel free to drop in at the conference room in the Guidance Suite for Pack Lounge, an event hosted by Mrs.Cartier, district wellness counselor. It is taking place every Wednesday during lunch for the rest of the month and are all welcome to come and partake in some relaxing activities with new friends.
This month also celebrates World Kindness Day on November 13th, and I’m sure the halls will be packed with positivity and kindness.
World Kindness Day is only one day, but no worries, because November is also known as Native American History Month, so there is something to celebrate every day.
The I.D.E.A Club and Diversity committee are hosting, “Everyone Has a Place at the Table.” An event that allows different clubs to combine forces and celebrate different cultures, holidays, and traditions, while food is shared.
Don’t forget that in November, and every other month, anyone who needs support is more than welcome to speak with Mrs. Ellsworth, or specifically this month, attended a Fall Into Mindfulness Session, held by Mrs. Cartier in the Zen Zone.
This is going to be a great month with plenty of spirit and don’t forget that if you need help Mrs. Ellsworth and others throughout the building are there!
