May has begun, and it’s Mental Health Month! In honor of this, Mrs. Cartier and the Health and Wellness Department have a variety of mental health activities planned.
Mrs. Cartier will be leaving out Pocket Hugs during the week of May 11th to celebrate the Day of Hope. She is hoping to let everyone know that “Tomorrow Needs You” through this activity.
In order to promote taking care of yourself this month, Mrs. Cartier has assigned a mental health activity to each day of the school week.
Mondays-Talk it Out
Tuesday- Take care of your physical health
Wellness Wednesday- Practice mindfulness and self-care
Thankful Thursday- Notice the good in the world around you
Friday- Find time for healthy and safe fun! Do activities and hobbies that make you smile.
By doing these activities you will find the best and happiest version of yourself!
If you need help managing stress, Mrs. Cartier’s Mindfulness Corner recommends sleeping well, exercising, talking it out, making time for fun and quiet, getting outside, and writing about it.
This is going to be a great month, and the last full month of school that will finish of the 2024-2025 school year.
