Come out to Concert for the Causes!

West Morris Central will be hosting its annual Concert for the Causes on January 23, 2024 from 6-9 PM. But what kind of concert will this be? What is the “cause” it is being held for? Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming event.
The band, orchestra, and choir groups are all important components of West Morris Central’s music department, and each holds a variety of unique concerts throughout the year. However, these are not the only music groups that make up West Morris Central. The school is also home to a wide variety of extracurricular student performers! Whether it be a solo acoustic act or a rock band, the student-led and -created bands of West Morris Central deserve a night in the spotlight too. They are the primary musical features of the Concert for the Causes.
Students aren’t the only ones joining together to explore music in an extracurricular sense! Faculty Meeting, a band made up of teachers including Mr. Ehasz, who helped IB students with the planning and coordinating of the event, will also be participating. Come out and watch your favorite teachers perform!

Though a special component, the featured bands of Concert for the Causes are not the only focus of the night. All ticket and concession profits will be sent to Sarah’s Fight for Hope, a local charity that works to improve the lives of children battling cancer and their families.
Come out on January 23 to support a deserving cause and enjoy great music!
