It’s time for the most festive part of the year! Here are the most important updates from guidance for the month of December.

December 3 is mid-mark for the second quarter of the school year. 

Juniors, schedule conferences with your counselor from December 4 to January 10. An email was sent to all Class of 2026 students about this.

December 20 is a half day heading into Winter Break! It will last until January 2, when we return to school.

Guidance is excited to announce that West Morris Central High School is transitioning to a new college and career planning platform called Scoir! After a thorough evaluation, Scoir was selected because it offers the best tools to support families in navigating the college selection and application process. Juniors will be the first to access and use Scoir, with sophomores and freshmen being introduced to the platform at a later date.

Attention all seniors, the FAFSA of 2024-2025 is now open. Apply for financial aid for college and make your college experience easier on yourself.
