The Wolfpack is Back

Oh baby are the boys back! This Central football team is on a mission and will not have
anyone in there way. Last Thursday they beat a very good Mount Olive football team to advance
to 3-1 on the season. That’s three in a row for the boys after a heartbreaking loss to Par Hills. The
team is locking down on defense and are putting up on offense. The team defeated Mount Olive
21-7 shutting them out in the second half. When talking to Coach Frayne about the Mount Olive
game he praised the defense saying,
“The defense really stepped up and played well. That was a team that was averaging about 45
points a game and our guys came out and played tough, good ole fashioned West Morris football
holding them to seven points.”
The team plays Randolph this Friday for the central homecoming game. When asked about how
they will prepare for the game Frayne said, “Same way we always do. We need to look at what they do and try to continue to do what we do
well. Make sure we are prepared on both offense defense and special teams. Well try to come up with a great game plan and have our guys ready to go.” Then I asked about the student section and about how he felt on if they had an impact on the game “They absolutely have an impact on the game. I love the student section and I think they do a good job pumping up the guys.” Frayne said, “It’s something pretty cool that we have that a lot of other schools don’t have as far as fans and school spirit. I think it’s awesome that we have fans there before we even get of the bus.” The team is now first in the conference after the win against Mount Olive. They play another
conference game this week against Randolph for Homecoming week. Some come support the
team at &:30 at home as they try to increase their win streak to four wins and jump to 4-1 on the
season.
