Senior Lucie Gibbons has been a part of the Unified program since her freshman year at West Morris Central. Gibbons has been a key contributor to Unifieds massive success across numerous sports. In a recent interview with Gibbons, she exclaimed that she has a love for all sports, however her two favorites are basketball and track and field.

When asked about some of her favorite memories she has garnered with West Morris Central Unified, Gibbons explained, “My favorite memory is scoring a goal in a basketball game against Sparta High School.” She also went on to mention the amazing friends that she has made throughout her four years on Unified. “Issy Noonan and Lauren Salo are just a few great examples of friends that I’ve made while on the team,” Gibbons explained.

On Monday, Unified went on a tear within the basketball world as they defeated Ridge High School in a dominating performance that saw many players crack double-digit points. Unfortunately, however, Gibbons has been sidelined away from the team due to a hurt right ankle. West Morris Central hopes she has a speedy recovery in order for her to help maintain Unified’s undefeated basketball record.

Unified basketball is set to play Mount Olive this Thursday, 2/3. Goodluck Unified!
