The first marking period of the 2023-2024 school year is complete! Here is some information to keep in mind from the guidance department as we enter the month of November, and with it, the second marking period.
Freshmen will meet with their counselors on November 6th and 7th to set goals and discuss their progress on their transition to high school.
Sophomores will meet with their counselors to participate in a career exploration lesson and begin to think about what their future plans may be.
Juniors will begin to meet individually with their counselors at the end of the month to discuss their post-secondary plans. Parents and students can attend the Junior Planning Night on Wednesday, November 29 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the WMC Library to learn more about the college search and process.
Additionally, AP exam registration is open until Tuesday, November 14th. All students enrolled in an AP course are strongly encouraged to consider taking the corresponding AP exam in May.
