Happy 2024! Of course, with a new year comes new reminders from the guidance department.

On January 9th and 10th, freshmen will be informed on how to begin planning for college and careers as well as create their schedules for sophomore year.

Throughout the month, sophomores and their families will meet with their counselors in Sophomore Conferences. These meetings will focus on ideas for future careers, the college process, and plans and schedules for junior and senior year. More information about Sophomore Conferences can be found in emails from counselors.

On January 10th, WMC will be hosting an 8th Grade Open House for students and families of the Class of 2028. Incoming students will be exposed to the academic and extracurricular facets of the high school as they prepare to join the student body next year.

Finally, the end of the second marking period will be on Friday, January 12. Students struggling in a class have the option to request a peer tutor.
