Male October Athlete of the Month

Male+October+Athlete+of+the+Month

Congratulations to Aidan Pisone for being recognized as the October 2023 student-athlete of the month!

Pisone plays Unified soccer, basketball, and track. He has played from the time he was a “freshman until he was a super-senior” which translates to 6 years in total. Pisone’s favorite aspect of all of the Unified teams is the sportsmanship that is displayed during every game. His overall favorite game every year is the student vs staff game which he always finds fun.

This year, they were chosen to be the official Unified team of the New York Red Bulls where Pisone played on offense. The team traveled to a stadium in Harrison, NJ, then played Philadelphia as part of the Unified Cup Tournament. It was a great experience for everyone. Some of the Unified players from Unified Teams across the country were invited to an all-star game in Washington DC this year. From WMC, Pisone joined some teammates and they traveled to compete in the all-star game. The teams were categorized in the East vs the West. Pisone especially liked how the refs were fair during all of these games.

Pisone’s advice to his freshman self would be to “never give up and always be confident” in sports and in school.

Another congrats to Aidan Pisone, and best of luck with Unified Basketball and track this year!
