Harry Styles announced a new album called Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally on January 15 with a release date of March 6, 2026. To lead up to his new 12 song album, he released the lead single called Aperture..
Harry Styles took an almost three year break starting on July 22, 2023 after his last show of his tour Love on Tour(LOT). He toured basically the whole world and hit almost every city. It ran from September 4, 2021 to July 22, 2023.
Malia Halilovic, a junior, and a huge fan of Harry styles, is very glad he is back. She recently listened to Aperture, and Halilovic believes this song could be a sneak peak as to how his new album might be more of a genre switch. “It took me a few listens to really get used to it because he just did a complete genre change. Like, he’s always been into more happy upbeat music. But never like this. This is definitely more like techno” Halilovic said. She has a theory that he was going to come back before his old bandmate from One Direction, Liam Payne died but took a longer break to handle his death.
Another big announcement with this new album is that he announced a tour; however, fans are upset about the ticket prices. For example Halilovic bought tickets to two shows on LOT in 2021 and 2022. They weren’t that hard to purchase and she got a lower bowl and first row seats for $250. In 2026, those same seats cost almost $1,200. The tickets were extremely hard to get from the ticket queue on Ticketmaster starting from at least 10,000 people. Halilovic believes these tickets should not be this high of a price. “I just kind of find that ridiculous. So I’m not happy about it at all” Haililovic said. The real fans who want to see him won’t be able to afford the tickets. The ticket prices are rising for a few reasons. One being inflation and another being Dynamic Pricing from higher demand for tickets.
Caroline Haas, a sophomore, and also a big fan of his, is looking forward to the new album. She thinks his break was really good for him for his mental health. “I enjoy his lyricism, it feels really honest and deep, and you can kind of connect to it,” Haas said.
People all around the world are extremely excited about this album and hope these expectations are met.
