WMC welcomes the school’s brand new club, The Wolfnac. This club will be responsible for providing singers for the national anthem at games, events, and school introductions.
This club was created by Mr. Stingle and Mr. Travis, who traditionally had to struggle to find singers for school events. In some cases, Mr. Travis had to sing the national anthem himself. Because of this, they wanted to reach out to more students and find an organized system.
“Mr. Travis and I realized we had a need in the school, and we had students who wanted to do it” Mr. Stingle said. “So we would put those two things together, and we now have a club called the Wolfnac, the national anthem club.” This club will embody the school’s pride and dignity as they sing to start games and other schoolwide events.
Mr. Stingle says that members need to be confident with their voice to sing in front of school crowds. All students are encouraged to step forward and try singing for Mr. Stingle to have a chance at the honor of singing for the school. Mr. Stingle hopes that this club will motivate underclassmen and shy singers to gain assurance in themselves and to find courage within the power of their voice.
WMC welcomes this club to represent the school’s pride, as they convey it through their voices. This club embodies the courage of WMC and has high expectations for their performance.
