Brooke Wilson, A junior at WMC was recognized by her teachers for being admired for personal qualities, Abilities, and/or achievements. She treats people with kindness and respect in and outside the classroom. Also, she said how it was definitely an honor to be chosen for this achievement. Even though she was happy she was being recognized for her hard work, she still was very surprised that she was chosen. “I feel like to be chosen you just have to always try your hardest on everything and just be focused on class” Wilson stated.
Nicholas Reiner, a sophomore at WMC was chosen for October student of the month. To earn this recognition, he displayed respect and hard work for his teachers and peers. He was not expecting to be chosen but was definitely happy he was picked for his kindness and great work. “Honestly, you’re shooting for the stars. I would recommend studying hard” Reiner advised.
Oisin McLaughlin, a freshman at WMC was also recognized as student of the month for October. His teachers noticed how he showed respect and kindness to those around him. He encourages everyone to “be respectful and be yourself” when being here at WMC. Even though he didn’t think he would be chosen for this achievement, he always treated everyone with equal kindness.
Charlie Gonzalez, a senior at WMC was chosen by his teachers for student of the month. He could not be reached for a comment.
