Renee Kalinka, a junior at WMC was chosen by her teachers to be November’s Student of the Month for demonstrating integrity. Kalinka is kind to her peers and is extremely honest. “I’m very grateful. I think it’s awesome to be labeled as that. I think I’ve definitely displayed integrity, and I’ve been putting in hard work to be the best person and version of myself I can be. I’m happy that teachers feel like I display integrity, and overall I’m so happy” Kalinka said.
Amari Melendez, a freshman at WMC was chosen as November’s student of the Month by her teachers because she also demonstrates integrity. . Melendez has shown kindness and consistent effort in school. She has also treated others just how she would want to be treated. She gives advice to those who want to achieve this. “Honestly just set goals for yourself even if they aren’t that big” Melendez said.
Christopher Kowalik was chosen as the sophomore Student of the Month, and Jillian Weinberger was chosen as the senior Student of the Month. They both couldn’t be reached for comment.
